OUR

MINISTRIES

Morton Memorial UMC is known on the mountain as a hub of many vital ministries.

Food Ministry

Morton's Food Ministry operates the Second Saturday of Every Month, beginning at 8 a.m. and closing around 10 a.m.  There are no eligibility requirements for those seeking food aid, but each person will need a photo ID.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Volunteers from the community are welcome to help with the Food Ministry in a variety of ways.  Receiving the food deliveries on Thursday and Friday before the Saturday distribution are a vital part of the success of the ministry.  Saturday volunteers gather around 7:15 a.m. and are given different responsibilities, from welcoming those who are receiving the aid to wheeling the carts that collect the food items around and collect the food items for distribution.   Contact the office at mortonmemorialumc@gmail.com or (931)924-2192 for more information.
