OUR

MINISTRIES

Morton Memorial is known on the mountain as the hub of many vital ministries, made possible by generous giving and partnerships with the South Cumberland Community Foundation, the University of the South's Office of Civic Engagement, Mountain Top, St. Thomas Medical Partners' Mobile Health Unit, VISTA and local Rotary groups, among others. Morton's Fellowship Center make it possible more community involvement like Al-Anon meetings and Diabetes Seminars.

Food Ministry

Morton's Food Ministry operates the Second Saturday of Every Month, beginning at 8 a.m. and closing around 10 a.m.  There are no requirements for eligibility but you will need a photo ID. Since the pandemic, distribution is being done with a drive-up system. People will check you in and then put groceries in your car/truck.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED

Not only are volunteers necessary on Food Distribution Days, but also on the Thursday and Friday before the 2nd Saturday, when help is needed to offload and set up for Saturdays.  Contact the office at mortonmemorialumc@gmail.com to get on a list to volunteer on all of those days.
